JTB, Lanhansha, and IMOS will hold “Sakuragomon Regeneration,” a nighttime projection mapping event from November 3 to 6, 2012, at the Sakuragomon Gate in Tamamo Park (2-1 Tamamo-cho, Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture), a historic site of Takamatsu Castle.
In July 2022, the gate was restored and is now open to the public for the first time in 77 years.
In “Sakuragomon Regeneration,” “Sakuragomon” will be fantastically projected not only by projectors but also by a fusion of new technologies such as hologram screens, laser lights, and animated LED lights.
During the same period, the art project “SANUKI ReMIX2” will be held at Rounkaku, an important cultural property located behind Sakura Gomon. Tickets for “SAKURAGIMON Regeneration” are available at the dedicated website.
