Travel, operated by Yahoo! Travel, will launch “Tadaima Tokyo Plus,” a nationwide travel support service for travel to destinations in Tokyo, on October 20 at 12:00 pm.
Discounts will be applied to accommodations with a “Nationwide Travel Support” label on the website. Travel (lodging reservations)” will be applied from October 20, and “Yahoo! Travel (Yahoo Pack),” which combines lodging and airfare, will be applied from October 21 for departures (not applicable to “lodging reservations (company comparison)” and day trip plans).
The subsidy is 40% of the trip price (maximum 8,000 yen per night for travel products that include transportation, and maximum 5,000 yen for other travel products), plus local coupons (3,000 yen on weekdays and 1,000 yen on holidays) that can be used to purchase souvenirs and other items. The coupons cannot be used in conjunction with the “More Tokyo” program for Tokyo residents. The subsidy will be available until December 21 for check-outs, but sales will end when the subsidy budget reaches its maximum.
Travel is also running its own campaign, “Save up to 10% anytime, anyone on lodging reservations,” which offers up to an additional 10% off when paying with an online card at the time of lodging reservation.
