On October 20, Tokyo will launch “TADAIMA TOKYO PLUS,” a nationwide travel support program. Eligible travel products will be handled by travel agencies and hotels from 12:00 pm.
The period is from October 20 to December 20 (including check-out on December 21). The subsidy is the same as in other prefectures in that 40% of the trip price (maximum 8,000 yen per night for travel products with transportation / maximum 5,000 yen for other products) and a coupon (3,000 yen on weekdays / 1,000 yen on holidays) that can be used to purchase souvenirs, etc. will be given.
Eligible travelers residing in Japan must have received three doses of the novel corona vaccine or be able to present a negative certificate such as a PCR test.
In addition, the “More Tokyo” tourism promotion program for Tokyo residents will be fully implemented from October 20. When traveling within Tokyo, Tokyo residents can combine the program with TADAIMA TOKYO Plus, which requires an overnight stay of at least 11,000 yen on weekdays and 8,000 yen on weekends and holidays.
