Tokyu Corporation, East Japan Railway Company, and Izu Kyuko will begin offering the digital service “Izu navi” on November 1.
Through the Izuko demonstration test conducted three times since 2019, we confirmed a certain need for seamless mobility through centralized information search and electronic ticketing on smartphones. On the other hand, we also recognized systemic and operational challenges in improving the service in response to movement data and local demands, and in push-based promotions.
In light of this, “Izu navi” will provide information on sightseeing facilities, restaurants, and work vacations in Izu, as well as information on special transportation tickets, bicycle rental, car share, car rental, and bus stops. By also providing business-related information such as shared offices and participatory projects, “Izu navi” will meet the needs of those who are interested in working and getting involved with the local community.
Electronic tickets will include transportation tickets such as Sunzu Line one-day unlimited ride tickets, Tokai Bus free tickets, and Izu Hakone Bus free tickets, as well as admission rights and tickets to zoos, aquariums, ropeways, and other facilities.
