Rakuten Travel Announces “TADAIMA TOKYO PLUS,” Tokyo’s Nationwide Travel Support Program, to Launch on October 25 at 10:00 a.m.

Rakuten Travel, Inc. announced the launch of “TADAIMA TOKYO PLUS,” a nationwide travel support service for trips to destinations in Tokyo, on October 25 at 10:00 a.m.

The implementation period will end when the maximum budget allocated to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is reached. The subsidy is 40% of the trip price (maximum 8,000 yen per night for travel products that include transportation, and maximum 5,000 yen for other travel products), and coupons (3,000 yen on weekdays and 1,000 yen on holidays) will be given to accommodation facilities for use in purchasing souvenirs and other items.

In addition to the above assistance, Rakuten Travel also offers a 5% point rebate for app-based reservations (online card payment only; entry required), a 10% off lodging coupon obtainable on the official website, and a 5% off coupon only on days with a 5 and 0, for a total “savings of up to 60%.
