Keisei to Stop Some Skyliner Trains at Shin-Kamagaya Station in Revised Timetable. Convenient access to Narita Airport.

Posted on 2022-10-252022-10-26 by Editor in Chief

Keisei Electric Railway will revise the timetable of the Keisei Line: on November 26 for weekends and holidays, and on November 28 for weekdays.

In the revised timetable, the Skyliner, which stops at Aoto Station, will also newly stop at Shin-Kamagaya Station to improve access to Narita Airport from the Matsudo and Kashiwa areas. Currently, the Skyliner operates two types of trains: one that runs nonstop between Nippori Station and Airport Terminal 2 Station, and the other that stops at Aoto Station on the way to the airport.

As a result, 14 up trains and 10 down trains of the Skyliner will stop at both Aoto and Shin-Kamagaya Stations. Skyliners stopping at both stations will operate at approximately 60-minute intervals during daytime hours.

Liner fares are 800 yen for adults and 400 yen for children from Shin-Kamagaya to Airport Terminal 2 and Narita Airport, 500 yen for adults and 250 yen for children from Keisei-Ueno/Nippori to Shin-Kamagaya, and 300 yen for adults and 150 yen for children from Aoto to Shin-Kamagaya.

In addition, one-man operation will begin during certain hours on the Kanamachi Line, Chihara Line, and Higashi-Narita Line (including Shibayama Railway Line). The new system will be in operation from approximately 9:00 to 17:00. Safety measures will include the strengthening of platform monitoring systems, installation of platform mirrors and monitors for safety checks, and remodeling of the trains.

The “Keisei Timetable VOL. 31” accompanying the timetable revision will be released on November 21.
