Makoto Fujii, a member of the ANA Trading Group, will hold a nationwide event to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the birth of its “Local Bears,” which are sold at tourist attractions, train stations, airports, and other locations.
Starting in 2012 with the release of “Strawberry Bear,” a bear based on Tochigi Prefecture’s famous strawberries, more than 300 types of local bears have been created for each of the 47 prefectures, including “Snow Rabbit Bear” for Hokkaido, “Dazaifu Plum Bear” for Fukuoka, and “Doala Bear” for Aichi Prefecture.
In addition to these 47 popular bears, the Sunflower Bears in Eastern Japan and the Kyoto Shin-Sen-Gumi Bears in Western Japan, which were selected first in the “Reprinted General Election” held in May, will be sold on a limited basis at this event. The event will begin in November at 39 locations nationwide.
In addition, from November 1, a present campaign “#Let’s talk about your memories with Gotochi Bears” will be held on the official SNS, in which 30 people will win goods not for sale with Gotochi Bears.
Details on each are listed on the special website for the 10th anniversary of the local bears.
