The Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation will hold a “Digital Stamp Rally to Commemorate the 111th Anniversary of the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation” from November 1 to December 12. The event commemorates the 111th anniversary of the opening of its predecessor, the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Electricity, on August 1, 1911.
Registration on the special site is required to participate. After registering, visitors can obtain a stamp by going to a stamp spot and scanning a QR code or acquiring location information. There are 11 stamp spots in total, divided into four courses according to the transportation bureau’s business: Toei Subway Course (Honjo Azumabashi Station, Takashimadaira Station, Higashi-Oshima Station, Shiodome Station), Toei Bus Course (Nishiasakusa 3-chome Stop, Ariake Tennis no Mori Stop, Chitosebashi Stop), Toden Course (Minowabashi Stop, Arakawa Shako-mae Stop), and Hydro Power Course (Ecot! Shiromaru).
By collecting all the stamps of one course, visitors will receive a digital certificate and original wallpaper, and by collecting all 11 stamps, they will receive a digital certificate with a serial number. In addition, visitors who collect all 11 stamps will receive a digital certificate with a serial number. One of the prizes, an alcohol gel with a 111th anniversary design, will be available for sale at subway stations and other locations (1,500 yen, limited to 200).
