Trustbank, which operates the comprehensive website “Furusato Choice,” will hold the “Furusato Choice Grand Thanksgiving Festival” at Pacifico Yokohama on November 12 and 13.
The “Furusato Choice Great Appreciation Festival” is held annually with the concept of local governments and local businesses and producers expressing their gratitude to donors. This year’s event was held under the theme of “Special Encounter. The theme of this year’s event is “Special Encounter. The event was attended by 106 municipalities from Hokkaido to Okinawa. At the booths of local governments, visitors can receive introductions of their prized tax returns from local government officials in charge of hometown tax payments, and can taste and sample food while interacting directly with the businesses and producers who provide the returned goods.
In addition, at the Furusato Choice area, staff will introduce a variety of returned goods and provide information on how donations have been used effectively, and also offer hands-on experience of traditional crafts.
