JAL, JAL ABC, and CBcloud have been offering a “same-day baggage delivery service” since July 11.
This service delivers baggage checked in at the departure airport to hotels in the Tokyo and Maihama area on the same day. Upon arrival at Haneda Airport, visitors can go sightseeing without leaving their luggage at their hotel or looking for coin lockers. The fee is 1,800 yen for one piece of luggage left at the departure airport and 1,200 yen for one piece of luggage left at Haneda Airport.
On September 15, Tokushima, Kochi, and Naha airports will be added, and on October 27, eight airports, including Aomori and Komatsu, will also be covered. As a result, the service will be available at a total of 20 statistical airports.
