Tokyo Metro and the Tokyo Metropolitan Transportation Bureau will expand the sales area of “Tokyo Subway Ticket,” a special ticket for travelers, to all areas of Japan except the Tokyo metropolitan area from November 1.
The “Tokyo Subway Ticket” is a ticket that allows unlimited rides on all Tokyo Metro lines and all Toei Subway lines for 24/48/72 hours (depending on ticket type) from the first time you pass through the ticket gate. The ticket is available to foreign visitors to Japan and visitors to Tokyo from outside the Tokyo metropolitan area (Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, Chiba, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Gunma and Yamanashi).
In addition to the 23 prefectures in 1-do (23 provinces) where the product is already on sale, Lawson, Seven-Eleven, FamilyMart, and Ministop stores in the 2 prefectures of Shizuoka, Aichi, Gifu, Shiga, Mie, Kyoto, Nara, Wakayama, Osaka, Hyogo, Tottori, Okayama, Shimane, Hiroshima, and Yamaguchi prefectures will begin selling the product. The sales will also begin at Lawson, Seven-Eleven, FamilyMart and Ministop stores in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
