UNIQLO conducted a study on outdoor market trends for 2022.
Of the 847 campers, more than 90% were found to wear UNIQLO products in outdoor situations. Furthermore, of the 432 campers who said they go camping with their children, about 90% have their children wear UNIQLO products.
Of those who responded that they wear UNIQLO, 35% also indicated that they use UNIQLO for their main items, including outerwear and bottoms as well as innerwear. For children, who grow up faster and have a greater need for replacement than adults, the percentage is even higher, with 47% using UNIQLO as their main source.
When those who answered that they wear UNIQLO were asked why, the number one response was functionality. The next most popular reasons were price and ease of use without worrying about stains or damage.
