Vietjet has begun offering free checked baggage allowance of up to 30 kg on flights between Japan and Vietnam. The service is available from November 7 to December 20.
Eligible flights are all flights between Narita/Kansai/ Centrair/Fukuoka and Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh/Danang. Free checked baggage service is available by applying for the advance booking option when purchasing tickets through the official website or Vietjet Air’s mobile app.
Vietjet currently operates a number of weekly direct flights between Narita/Kansai and Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City, as well as four weekly flights between Centrair and Hanoi and three weekly flights between Fukuoka and Hanoi. In addition, on December 21, the Haneda – Da Nang route will be re-launched as a daily service. One-way fares start at 17,000 yen.
