Emergency Relief for Hurricane Lisa in Belize

In response to a request from the government of Belize, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will provide emergency relief supplies for hurricane damage in Belize as follows.

The hurricane that passed through Belize around 15:00 on November 2 has caused storm damage in the country.
Damage as of November 3 (as announced by the local government)
Number of affected people: 94,271 or more
Evacuees: approx. 5,000
5,500 houses affected (in Belize District)
Damage also occurred to school buildings.
