Ironfield Gear will release “TAKI BE TREE,” an open-shaped fire pit with secondary combustion, in November. The price is 16,500 yen.
The product realizes a hybrid type that crosses the merits of a fire pit (open shape) with those of a secondary burning fire pit (tubular or box shape), allowing the use of firewood as long as 35 to 40 cm without cutting.
In the fire pit (open shape), thick wood that does not burn completely in the primary combustion process remains until the end, but secondary combustion is achieved by mixing “combustible gas that becomes smoke” with “warmed air” coming out of the upper hole.
In addition, most secondary burning fires are cylindrical or box-shaped, and the silhouette of the flame from the wood was only visible at the top, but this product has an open shape, allowing the user to enjoy the flame shape that is typical of a bonfire.
