MAP” provided by Yahoo! MAP has started offering a “lookup” function in its AR mode, an AR-based walking navigation support function.

In the AR mode, it has been possible to superimpose navigation elements such as routes and signboards as visuals on the actual scenery captured by the camera. The new lookup function allows users to easily determine the direction they are going by simply checking the “Enjin” in the sky, in addition to arrows, distances, and signs.
