Metropolitan Expressway Daishi Bridge to be closed to traffic all day for two weeks in late May 2023 for replacement.

Posted on 2022-11-162022-11-16 by Editor in Chief

On November 16, the Metropolitan Expressway announced that the Daishi Bridge on the Haneda Line, which is undergoing renewal work, will be closed to traffic all day for about two weeks starting in late May 2023.

Due to the replacement of the existing bridge with a new one, congestion is expected during the period, and traffic, especially between Tokyo and Kanagawa, is encouraged to use the Bayshore Route.

For an overview of the construction work, please see the related article, “Metropolitan Expressway Daishi Bridge to be Widened for Easier Driving! We saw the transportation and rotation of the bridge girders to be replaced in the renewal project”.
