Amando Tokyo This is a new store of the long-established confectionery cafe “Amando Tokyo,” known as the face of Roppongi Crossing, and its main product is the popular “Napoleon Pie. The luxurious mille-feuille of custard cream and crispy pie, topped with strawberries and fragrant almonds, makes a perfect souvenir. If it is difficult to take home fresh pastries, try the Bon Napoleon. This is a baked cake with white chocolate cream sandwiched in a pie. Petit Marble Grand Marble is a popular store in Kyoto that offers marble Danish pastries that fuse Japanese ingredients with Western flavors. Petit Marble” is the newest addition to the Grand Marble brand. It sells Danish baked without eggs, milk, or other animal products, using environmentally friendly ingredients, as well as Danish-based crunch chocolate. Five new stores will be opened in existing areas Chanohan Tokyo A specialty store specializing in matcha green tea sweets run by a long-established tea shop in Hiroshima. Using matcha carefully selected from all over Japan, the shop makes butter cakes, momiji manju, and other sweets. You can enjoy the special taste that only a tea shop can create. Bubby’s opened in New York in 1990. In Japan, Bubby’s operates cafes and restaurants in Tokyo and Yokohama that serve pies, pancakes, and hamburgers. The Tokyo Gift Palette will sell their signature product, “Mile High Apple Pie,” and other items. Mlesna Tea is a tea brand founded in Sri Lanka, featuring tea leaves grown without the use of pesticides or agricultural chemicals and finished using traditional methods. The brand also offers an extensive lineup of flavored teas with natural aromas, and of the 150-odd varieties available, about 100 are on offer here. La Boutique TERAKOYA This sweet store is owned by TERAKOYA, a French restaurant in Tokyo. Among the sweets, the most popular is the “Olive Sandwich,” a French-style biscuit sandwich of large Spanish olives and cream. The limited-time (until December 6) “Crème Brulee” made with Tokyo-grown blueberries is also noteworthy. Japanese Sweets WANOKA has its main store in Yamanashi, and offers Japanese sweets made with fruits grown in Yamanashi. They use seasonal ingredients such as pine muscat, strawberries, and baked sweet potatoes. The sweets are sandwiched, rolled, pressed, and wrapped.
