JR West will suspend service between Rokujizo and Joyo Stations on the Nara Line from 21:00 to the last train on December 17 due to track switching work for the Nara Line double track conversion.
The last train of the day will depart from Kyoto at 21:09 (regular train for Nara) in the direction of Nara and from Kyoto at 20:50 (regular train for Kyoto) in the direction of Kyoto. During the suspension, Kinki Nippon Railway, Keihan Electric Railway, and Kyoto Municipal Transportation Bureau will be used to replace the trains, but buses will not be used for substitute transportation.
