Warner Bros. Studios Japan will open “Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo Making of Harry Potter” in the summer of 2023 at the former Toshimaen site in Tokyo’s Nerima Ward.
Prior to the opening, creative art was unveiled on December 1, the same day the first “Harry Potter” movie, “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone,” was released. As the message “This is how the world of ‘Harry Potter’ was created” is told in the art, visitors can enjoy meeting the sets, costumes, props, and magical animals from the movie by the creators who were involved in the actual movie.
The site covers an area of approximately 90,000 m2 and includes the Great Hall from the movie, the Hogwarts Express on lines 9 and 3/4 leading to the Wizarding World, and Diagon Alley. In the Hogwarts Moving Staircase area, visitors can actually become a moving portrait by taking a picture of themselves in front of the portrait.
The facility is available by advance reservation only.
