Posted on 2022-12-09 by Editor in Chief

In commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the launch of multi station radio-controlled watches, CITIZEN WATCH will release commemorative models “DENPA Limited Models YOAKE COLLECTION” from four brands: CITIZEN ATESSA, CITIZEN EXCEDE, CITIZEN COSCII, and CITIZEN COLLECTION.

In 1996, Citizen developed the world’s first radio-controlled watch equipped with the photovoltaic Eco-Drive system, and in 2001, the world’s first radio-controlled watch with a ceramic exterior and built-in antenna. In 2003, a radio-controlled watch with a full-metal case was also realized.

The new “DENPA Limited Models YOAKE COLLECTION” features radio-controlled watch movements that are thin, small, equipped with a chronograph, and receive radio waves from Japan, China, the U.S., and Europe, in accordance with the image of each brand. The design of all four brands is black and gold in coloring to represent the beginning of a new challenge in radio-controlled watches as “dawn.

The price and limited editions are: Citizen Exceed, limited to 500 pieces and priced at 159,500 yen; Citizen Atessa, limited to 1,600 pieces and priced at 126,500 yen; Citizen Cross Sea, limited to 1,500 pieces and priced at 115,500 yen; and Citizen Collection, limited to 1,600 pieces and priced at 60,500 yen.
