Universal Studios is adding 13 new magical wand collections to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The expansion will take place at Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal Studios Japan, and Universal Beijing Resort.
The new collection is made of wood and one of the three most powerful cores in the “Harry Potter” series: the unicorn mane, the dragon’s heartstring, or the phoenix feather, and comes with a “Wand Lore” that introduces the wand’s unique characteristics and ideal wand owner. The new wand can also be used in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter to cast spells and with a flick of the wrist, create a magical experience.
The new collection also features wands exclusive to each location that are not available at other parks. The “Cherry and Unicorn Mane Wand” will be available at Universal Studios Japan, the “Larch and Phoenix Feather Wand” at Universal Orlando Resort, the “Walnut and Dragon Heartstring Wand” at Universal Studios Hollywood, and the “Red Oak and Unicorn Mane Wand” at Universal Beijing Resort will be local.
