Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse Renewal! We saw 25 new stores, including Hama-esque sundries and Western-style Disney cafes.

25 stores open, including the first in Japan!

The Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse was built in the 1910s and has been used as a cultural and commercial facility since 2002. For the first renovation since its opening, the concept was “BRAND NEW ‘GATE’,” and in addition to enhanced sustainability, air conditioning was strengthened, and comfort was improved by adding sofas and terrace seating. A total of 66 stores, including fashion, general merchandise, cafes and restaurants, will open in Buildings 1 and 2. UNI COFFEE ROASTERY A café with branches in the Yokohama area. Each store adopts a different concept, and the space here is designed in the style of the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse. The café offers a variety of drinks and food, with a focus on coffee made from Myanmar beans. The menu includes such store-exclusive items as “Yokohama Neapolitan (mochilini)” and “Cookies & Cream Sundae.

bills is an all-day dining restaurant from Sydney, Australia. The highlight of the menu is the “Short Rib Noodle – Cilantro and Beetroot Salad with Szechuan Spices,” which is available only at the restaurant. The menu was developed by Bill Granger, the restaurant’s restaurateur, and was inspired by the city of Yokohama. The soup is made with short ribs and shiitake mushrooms, cilantro and candied beet salad, and Szechuan spices mixed with sansho and other spices, all of which are typical of bills.

MILK MARCHE Hokkaido offers desserts using “4.0” milk from the Nekushiro Plains. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes that reflect the concept of “tasting the original taste of milk, enjoyment, surprise, discovery, and experience.

Chocola Meets The first directly managed store by a craft chocolate brand from Yokohama. Chocola Meets sells chocolates made from cacao beans purchased through fair trade and packaged with artwork by various artists. In addition to packages with Yokohama motifs, seasonal packages are also available.

Sustainable Think. The company offers socially and environmentally friendly products, such as items made from recycled paper recycled from marine debris and origami cranes washed up on the coasts.

Mono & Art Sells “one-of-a-kind” sundries and stationery hand-drawn by young artists. Limited edition items inspired by the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse will also be sold.
