The Spanish National Tourist Board has released a tourism promotion video featuring the world-renowned Spanish soccer player Andres Iniesta.
Andres Iniesta, who led Spain to victory at the 2010 FIFA World Cup, has been a member of Vissel Kobe of the J-League since 2018, marking his fifth year in Japan. In the video, Iniesta is interviewed and introduces various attractions of Spain, such as tourist spots, cuisine, and lifestyle. The video also features Iniesta talking about his life in Japan and other episodes that are not limited to soccer.
The message Iniesta delivers at the end of the video, “Te mereces España,” is the catchphrase of the promotional campaign run by the Spanish Tourism Promotion Board, which aims to “free travelers from the anxiety caused by the pandemic, so that they can have a truly relaxing vacation in Spain. The campaign is designed to help travelers “unwind from the anxiety caused by the pandemic and spend a truly relaxing vacation in Spain.
