Koka City, Shiga Prefecture, will hold a limited-time event in collaboration with Capcom’s “Monster Hunter” game series from mid-January to March 31, 2023.

Koka City, known as the city of ninja and Shigaraki pottery, is the stage for a variety of projects in the city. Under the theme of “Monster Hunter x Ninja, Pottery, and the Japanese World,” the Koga Real Ninja Pavilion at the Tourism Information Center (located in the Shinobi no Sato Prala, 600 Ryuboshi, Konan-cho, Koka City, Shiga Prefecture) will exhibit a life-size Shigaraki pottery reproduction of the Otomo Airu (ninja gear) that appears in “Monster Hunter Rise. In addition, the museum’s five ninja arts experience corner has been redesigned to monster specifications, and original goods will be available for purchase. Original goods will also be on sale.

A quest rally will also be held, where visitors can receive quests at the facility and visit sightseeing spots in the city to obtain “Monster Red Seal”. Visitors can enjoy the charms of Koka and the world of Monster Hunter by experiencing shuriken, pottery, strawberry picking, and more.

Furthermore, during the event period, trains on the Shigaraki Kogen Railway will display a Monhan headmark, and Monhan music will be used for train departures and platform background music at Shigaraki Station. More details will be announced on a special page on the Koga Real Ninja Museum website.
