L’Occitane has newly added “Kamaishi timber and L’Occitane’s Digne-les-Bains Lavender tourist farm original set” to its Kamaishi hometown tax returns as support for Digne-les-Bains Lavender tourist farm, which has signed a partnership agreement with Kamaishi City, Iwate Prefecture.
L’Occitane, which stands for “protecting plant diversity” and “being kind to nature on earth,” resonated with the efforts of the Kamaishi Regional Forestry Cooperative, which is involved in forest conservation, and this collaboration was made possible through their efforts. The collection includes cutlery made of wood from Kamaishi City and hand creams from L’Occitane’s popular Lavender and Shea series, all made with the hope of expanding the circle of sustainability through the lavender tourism farm.
Accepted by Rakuten Furusato Tax Payment and Furusato Choice, the return gift can be obtained by making a donation of 40,000 yen or more to Kamaishi City.
