JR West will renew its online reservation “e5489” service on February 19, 2023.
The top screen will be redesigned to allow users to make reservations from their reservation history and to require no member registration/login. In addition, the reception hours will be expanded to 5:30-25:50 (excluding 23:50-0:05) to allow use late at night.
In April, the WESTER app will implement the ability to check e5489 reservation details and rebook from the history.
In addition, from July 1, ticket reservations with the shareholder discount applied will be available through e5489 and Midori ticket vending machines, which were previously available through Midori no madoguchi (ticket window).
