JTB-CWT Launches Lump-sum Post-payment Service for Accommodations for Overseas Business Trips. One-stop service from hotel reservation to settlement.

JTB Business Travel Solutions (JTB-CWT) and JTB Business Innovators will be the first companies in Japan to introduce Hotel Billback, a hotel payment platform developed by Amadeus IT Group, to provide hotel reservation and settlement services using JTB-issued Mastercard’s JTB-CWT and JTB Business Innovators will launch a hotel reservation and settlement service using virtual credit card numbers (VCN) issued by JTB’s Mastercard.

This service is offered to JTB Business Travel Solutions’ subscribing companies in response to the demand from users who want to pay for their hotel bills locally (on behalf of the business traveler), which has been an issue for overseas business trips, in a lump-sum corporate settlement, just like airline tickets, after the fact.

By introducing Hotel Billback, business travelers will be able to make reservations through VCN without using their corporate or personal credit cards, making it possible for them to make one-stop hotel reservations and payments.

In addition, the use of restricted-use VCNs for payment will reduce the risk of unauthorized use due to leakage or loss of credit card information. In addition, the system centralizes the traveler’s itinerary and destination information, enabling the administrator to manage the entire business trip.
