Seibu Railway will implement a timetable revision on March 18.
The revision will include new or additional limited express trains and reserved-seat trains, changes to operating schedules, and revisions to coincide with the opening of the Sotetsu and Tokyu Shin-Yokohama Lines. The lines affected are the Shinjuku Line, Haijima Line, Tamako Line, Kokubunji Line, Seibuen Line, Ikebukuro Line, Seibu Chichibu Line, Seibu Yurakucho Line, Toshima Line, Sayama Line, and Yamaguchi Line.
On the Shinjuku Line, up limited express trains will be shifted to the busy periods, two new up Haijima Liners will be added on the Haijima Line, and one more up limited express train will be added on the Ikebukuro Line during busy periods. On the Shinjuku Line, all downbound Haijima Liner trains connecting to Kodaira Station will be switched to trains bound for Honkawagoe.
Furthermore, some limited express trains and S-TRAIN trains arriving at Seibu-Chichibu Station will be changed to arrival times suitable for sightseeing. In addition, while maintaining the F-Liner’s express service to Yokohama, it will be possible to change trains on the same platform within the Tokyu Toyoko Line when heading to the Shin-Yokohama direction.
In addition, from the date of the timetable revision, the company will also begin accepting barrier-free fares at railroad stations.
