Stayed at “Rakuten STAY VILLA Nasu

Posted on 2022-12-222022-12-22 by Editor in Chief

Rakuten Stay will hold the grand opening of “Rakuten STAY VILLA Nasu” on February 1, 2023. We had a chance to stay at the facility on a trial basis prior to the grand opening, and this report will report on the experience. The company operates various types of lodging facilities, including detached houses and apartments, under the “Rakuten STAY” brand, of which “VILLA” is the most high-grade lodging facility offering comfortable living in a resort area.

Check-in system common to Rakuten STAY The room we tested this time was apartment-type room A202, located on the second floor of the common building. The interior design applies “grove” and the room has a spacious deck and a semi-open-air Jacuzzi. The check-in process is in the style common to Rakuten STAY. First, go to the front of the reserved room, enter the PIN number notified in advance into the touch pad on the room door to unlock it, and enter the room. After entering the reservation number and other necessary information on the tablet terminal installed in the room, the user will talk with an operator via video chat and confirm his/her identity to complete the check-in process. Although it may be a little confusing when using the system for the first time, once you get used to it, you will find it more comfortable since you can receive assistance via video chat if you have any questions and there is no need to stop by the front desk, as is the case with most hotels. In the case of Rakuten STAY VILLA Nasu, the same tablets are also located on the first floor of the common building, and you can check in here before entering your room. Basically, this can be done in each room, but in the unlikely event that you forget the PIN to unlock the door and are unable to enter, this is a great way to check in.
