APA Hotel has reopened “APA Hotel ” (1-9-18 Ekimae, Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture).
Located a two-minute walk from the west exit of Koriyama Station, the hotel has increased the total number of rooms to 89 by converting the entire second floor into guest rooms. In addition to 74 single rooms, there are 8 double rooms and 7 twin rooms.
The front lobby and restaurant, which were on the second floor, have been relocated to the first floor. The front lobby has been redecorated with a luxurious chandelier.
The guestrooms feature a large wall-mounted LCD TV, ceiling lights with special attention to brightness, original “Cloud fit” beds designed for a good night’s sleep, and original unit baths. A “good night switch” has been installed on the bedside centralized controller, which integrates lighting switches, air conditioning remote control, electrical outlets, USB ports, HDMI terminals, etc., to enable lights to be turned off all at once. Bedding includes down quilts made by Nishikawa and two types of original pillows with different specifications, “PRIDE FIT” and “ADJUST FIT”.
In addition, the first-floor restaurant “Meshi to Sake: Sumikura Shokudo” will serve Japanese set meals for breakfast, focusing on local ingredients and charcoal grills.
