ZEN RESORT NIKKO, the first glamping field in Oku-Nikko, opens. Overlooking Lake Chuzenji and Mt.

Posted on 2022-12-26 by Editor in Chief

ZEN Resort will open its first glamping facility in Oku-Nikko, ZEN RESORT NIKKO (2482-1-27 Nakamiya Shrine, Nikko-shi, Tochigi Prefecture), on December 25.

Located in the national park where the vast nature of Oku-Nikko still remains, the camp offers a panoramic view of Lake Chuzenji and Mt. While retaining the unique charm of camping, such as experiencing nature and sharing time together, the facility provides an environment, space, and facilities that allow visitors to casually experience the outdoors.

Attention was also paid to the spatial design of the rooms, with different furniture and accessories designed for each room. Mattresses are made by outdoor manufacturer Goldwyn. Separate shower rooms for men and women are also provided in a separate room.

In addition, a variety of tools such as heat-resistant aprons, gloves, cooking utensils, and warm clothing are available for rent, allowing visitors to enjoy bonfires with no worries. The lineup also includes other unusual gear such as a Swedish torch and its stand. Experienced visitors can also bring their own gear and food, allowing them to enjoy the outdoors with their own special items.

In addition to renting the necessary tools and equipment for barbecuing, barbecue menus and drinks will also be provided. There is also an option to have a cooking staff member cook right in front of you, allowing those who are worried about starting a fire or adjusting the heat to their liking to have a worry-free experience. French- and Italian-based course dinners are also available.

Tent saunas are also being prepared. It will be an outside air bath with a view of the nature of the national park.
