Fushimi Inari Taisha shrine (68 Fukakusa Yabunouchi-cho, Fushimi-ku, Kyoto, Japan) has announced on its official website about the first visit of the year 2023.
The opening hours for prayers, sacred cards and talismans (awarding office), and red seals (ceremonial hall) are as follows. The red seal will only be available in the form of a red seal, and from New Year’s Eve to January 5, stalls will be open on a reduced scale.
The crowds and the area around the approach to the shrine can also be checked by the Kyoto Tourist Association’s “Kyoto Sightseeing Navi” via live camera and other means. The Kyoto City Tourist Association urges people to refrain from talking and to leave some space between visits to the temple grounds.
Keihan Railway has also announced all-night service from New Year’s Eve to January 1. For details, please check the special page on the official website.
