The Harajuku Police Station has also announced traffic restrictions around Harajuku Station and Yoyogi Station for the Meiji Jingu Shrine’s Hatsumode (New Year’s Eve to New Year’s Day). Since crowds are expected from New Year’s Eve to the third day of the New Year, visitors are advised to use public transportation such as trains and buses.
