The Tokyo Metropolitan Government will launch “TADAIMA TOKYO PLUS,” a nationwide travel support program, on January 10.

The period is from January 10 to March 31 (including check-out on April 1). 20% of the trip price (maximum 5,000 yen per night for travel products with transportation/ maximum 3,000 yen for other products) will be subsidized, and electronic coupons (2,000 yen on weekdays/1,000 yen on holidays) will be given for use in purchasing souvenirs, etc.

Eligible travelers residing in Japan must have received three doses of the novel corona vaccine or be able to present a negative certificate such as a PCR test.

The “More Tokyo” tourism promotion program for Tokyo residents will also resume during the same period. When Tokyo residents travel within Tokyo, the subsidy can be used in combination with TADAIMA TOKYO Plus, with the subsidy amounting to 5,000 yen per night and 2,500 yen per one-day trip. The conditions for using the subsidy together are that the overnight trip must be at least 9,000 yen on weekdays and 8,000 yen on weekends and holidays. One-day trip must be at least 6500 yen on weekdays and 5500 yen on weekends.
