Vending machine “SALAD STAND” at Shibuya Station on Keio Inokashira Line. Lineup of health-conscious products such as salads and cold-pressed juices.

Keio Corporation, ReGACY Innovation Group, and KOMPEITO will begin a demonstration experiment on January 16 to install “SALAD STAND by OFFICE DE YASAI,” a vending machine offering a selection of fresh salads at Shibuya Station on the Keio Inokashira Line.

SALAD STAND is a vending machine that sells health-conscious products such as salads and cold-pressed juices made from freshly picked and freshly cut vegetables. The vending machines have been installed in three office buildings in Tokyo, and now for the first time, they will appear in train stations. Through the installation of the vending machines, the company intends to verify the needs for new vending products within the station premises, as well as to make effective use of the station space by collecting marketing data from the AI cameras that will be installed as accessories.

The cold-pressed juice will go on sale at 1:00 p.m. on January 17. Payment methods available include transportation IC cards, the “YASAI PAY” electronic payment application, credit cards, and various QR code payment methods.

The company is also considering incorporating a “dynamic pricing function” to derive optimal prices based on data such as post-installation sales trends for sale.
