Posted on 2023-01-16 by Editor in Chief

Keio Plaza Hotel Hachioji (14-1 Asahi-machi, Hachioji City, Tokyo) will newly establish guest rooms themed on popular Sanrio characters “Hello Kitty” and “My Melody Kuromi” in summer 2023.

Two of the rooms are themed “New Princess Hello Kitty,” featuring Keio Plaza Hotel’s original Hello Kitty “Princess Hello Kitty” in a stylish dress, and the other two rooms are themed “New Princess Hello Kitty,” featuring Keio Plaza Hotel’s original Hello Kitty “Princess Hello Kitty” in a stylish dress. The theme of the two rooms is “a space where you can enjoy the feeling of being a princess, like a dream come true.

The other two rooms are the first “My Melody/Kuromi” rooms in Japan, themed on My Melody, who has long been a fan favorite, and her self-proclaimed rival, Kuromi. The rooms are designed to be photogenic, with the theme colors of the two characters clearly differentiated so that fans of either can enjoy the space.

The “Hello Kitty Room,” “My Melody Room,” and “Little Twin Stars Room” at Keio Plaza Hotel Tama, which were well-received mainly by female guests and families, were closed when the hotel closed on January 15.
