NEXCO East Japan Niigata Branch Office is calling for people to refrain from going out unnecessarily on expressways in Niigata Prefecture due to the forecast of heavy snowfall from January 23 to 26, which is expected to cause wide-area road closures and traffic congestion.
In addition, NEXCO East Japan Niigata Branch Office, Yuzawa Management Office, Niigata Management Office, Nagaoka Management Office, and Joetsu Management Office will temporarily suspend operations such as visitor reception counter and meetings in the office building during the period when heavy snow is expected in order to control traffic. Telephone inquiries and mailing of documents will be available.
