On January 20, the three NEXCO companies announced a review of late-night expressway discounts. The current late-night discount system, which offers three discounts for ETC vehicles traveling between midnight and 4:00 a.m., will be reviewed as follows, taking into account the fact that some vehicles wait until midnight just before toll gates, which causes traffic congestion, and the increased burden on long-distance drivers. The review is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2024, and the timing of the start of operation will be announced later.

Late-night discount hours are expanded to 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day.
