Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced on January 24 that it plans to open its second hotel in Japan under the Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand in Toranomon, Tokyo, as HOTEL TORANOMON HILLS in the fall of 2023.
The hotel will occupy part of the first floor and the 11th to 14th floors of Toranomon Hills Station Tower, which is being promoted by the Toranomon 1- and 2-chome Urban Area Redevelopment Association, in which Mori Building is a participant. The hotel is a new type of luxury hotel that combines the aesthetics of Japanese architecture with practicality, and will be managed by Hyatt under a hotel management contract between Mori Building and Hyatt through their respective affiliated companies.
The hotel will feature a total of 205 guest rooms, including two-level suites with a living room and kitchen on the first floor and bedrooms on the second floor. The hotel also aims to be a social hub for business people and trendsetters, with facilities reminiscent of an airport lounge, shower booths for guests arriving early in the morning, and a spacious working space with a view of Tokyo Tower and the city.
The restaurant and café & bar, which will open as a street-level store on the first floor, will be supervised by renowned European Michelin-starred chef Sergio Herman. The restaurant will offer upscale yet casual and modern gastronomy with a European taste.
