JR East and JR East Startup will collaborate with Peace Tech Lab, a company selected under the JR East Startup Program 2022 Spring, to offer the “JRE empty-handed travel” service, in which passengers can borrow and return items necessary for their trip at stations. The period is from February 1 to May 31.
In addition to a set of Wi-Fi routers and mobile monitors that can be used for remote work in the Shinkansen train and at your destination, you can borrow and return at the station a set of relaxation items to refresh your eyes and shoulders during work, and a hair iron and facial equipment for use at your destination. This service is available at the baggage drop-off counter in front of the south ticket gate of the Shinkansen at Tokyo Station and at the Station Tabi Concierge at Sendai Station.
