On January 26, APA Group held a groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion of APA Hotel Osaka Kadoma Ekimae (2-6 Motomachi, Kadoma City, Osaka Prefecture).
Together with the APA Hotel & Resort Osaka Umeda Station Tower, which will open on February 1, and the APA Hotel & Resort Osaka Namba Station Tower, scheduled to open in the fall of 2024, the company aims to complete the additional building in time for the Osaka Expo in 2025. The new building will be a nine-story building with 91 guest rooms, and together with the existing building, will have a total of 211 rooms.
It is only a 3-minute walk from Kadoma-shi Station on the Keihan Main Line and Osaka Monorail, and also accessible to Itami Airport without transfers. The Towa RACTAB Dome (Osaka Prefectural Kadoma Sports Center) and other sports facilities are located nearby. When the Osaka Monorail extension project is completed, the area will also have access to multiple lines: JR Gakkentoshi Line, Osaka Metro Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line and Chuo Line, and Kintetsu Keihanna Line and Nara Line.
