The Romance Car Museum (1-3 Megumi-machi, Ebina City, Kanagawa Prefecture), operated by Odakyu Electric Railway, will hold the “Shinjuku Station Fieldwork – Shinjuku, the world’s best station that continues to evolve” on February 25 in cooperation with JR Shinjuku Station and Odakyu Shinjuku Station.
This program is a fieldwork to deepen knowledge of the station building and the history of the town while touring around Shinjuku Station, the terminal of JR and Odakyu lines, and its surrounding area, with the assistance of a curator.
Visitors can experience the past, present, and future of Shinjuku by touring the platforms, sneaking into the station’s backyard to look behind the ticket machines, which are normally inaccessible, and receiving a lecture on the ongoing Shinjuku Station redevelopment project.
