Rakuten STAY, the operator of Rakuten Group’s “Rakuten STAY” accommodation bra, will open “Rakuten STAY VILLA Kamogawa” (1130-1 Nishimachi, Kamogawa, Chiba Prefecture) in Kamogawa City, Chiba Prefecture, on February 17. In advance of the opening, the company has begun accepting reservations.
This accommodation facility is located near Tojo Beach, where swimming and surfing are possible, and a large aquarium. The suites have a total floor space of 300m2 and can accommodate up to 12 people. The standard rooms are all two bedrooms with a floor plan of over 100m2.
Four interior designs are available: “Shallow Sea,” which uses light tones to evoke the image of shallow waters and underwater, “Deep Sea,” which uses subdued tones to evoke the image of underwater and the ocean floor, “Moroccan,” which is stylish and exotic, and “Japanese Modern,” which is based on the Japanese style and allows guests to relax both physically and mentally.
All rooms are equipped with an open-air artificial hot spring bath, sauna, BBQ terrace, and kitchen, as well as Wi-Fi and a washer/dryer for longer stays, such as vacations. One suite and seven standard rooms can accommodate up to two large dogs. Pet supplies such as cages and etiquette bags are provided to reduce travel luggage, and a dog run is available for the exclusive use of the rooms.
You can choose from five types of meals for dinner and three types for breakfast. The menu features locally produced and locally consumed dishes such as sashimi boatloads and seafood BBQ using fresh local seafood, and BBQ and sukiyaki using Kazusa Wagyu beef and Hayashi SPF brand pork produced in Chiba Prefecture. The suites will also feature complimentary beverages such as draft beer from the beer server, craft beer produced in Chiba Prefecture, and cider.
Rates start at 87,500 yen for a suite and 35,000 yen for a standard room.
