Tokyo Metro will release a special “Senior 24-hour Ticket” on February 1 for passengers aged 65 or older.
The Senior 24-Hour Ticket allows unlimited rides on all Tokyo Metro lines for 24 hours from the start of use. The price is 500 yen, 100 yen less than the regular 600 yen Tokyo Metro 24-hour ticket. Payment is by cash only, with a limit of five tickets per person. A limited number of 30,000 tickets will be sold at commuter pass sales offices (excluding Nakano, Nishi Funabashi, and Shibuya stations) and some station offices.
Also, during the period of validity until April 30, the company is holding the “Metro Town Tour Stamp Rally,” in which participants can win prizes such as meal coupons, and the “All Stations Stamp Rally,” in which they can participate in secret tours by drawing lots, and enjoy exploring the areas along the line using their senior 24-hour tickets.
