ZIPAIR Tokyo and SpaceX will proceed with technical verification for the introduction of the “Starlink” satellite communication service to speed up in-flight Internet communications.

Currently, ZIPAIR offers free in-flight Internet service, and the company aims to achieve similar transmission speeds as on the ground. Starlink offers low latency and high speed due to its close proximity to the earth’s surface, and it covers a wide area of the world.
