JAL will offer “Seafood Ankake Rice Noodles” using Japanese rice noodles in First Class and Business Class on flights from London to Haneda. The period is from February 1 to 28.
To expand exports of rice flour products, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) and the All Japan Rice and Rice-Related Foods Export Promotion Council, a certified export promotion organization, collaborated to make this possible with the cooperation of Daisuke Hayashi, JAL’s chef for first and business class in-flight meals from Europe to Japan.
The gluten-free menu uses Japanese rice flour made from 100% Japanese rice, which gives the noodles a rice flavor and a different taste from wheat flour noodles.
