Large-scale redevelopment connecting the Oosaki and Gotanda areas. Business and residential buildings, and a park utilizing the waterfront, to be completed in 2027.

The Higashi Gotanda 2-chome No. 3 Urban Area Redevelopment Association and Tokyu Land Corporation announced that the Higashi Gotanda 2-chome No. 3 Urban Area Redevelopment Project Type 1, which they are promoting, received approval for its rights conversion plan from the governor of Tokyo on February 1.

This large-scale mixed-use development integrates an area of approximately 1.6 hectares located between Osaki and Gotanda Stations. In the surrounding area, open spaces such as parks and plazas and greenways are already being developed in stages as waterfront spaces that will become symbols of the community, and this project will play a role in completing these.

In addition to flood countermeasures for the business and residential buildings, temporary accommodation facilities for people who have difficulty returning home will be planned to improve the disaster preparedness of the community. The project will enter the full-scale construction phase and is scheduled to be completed in FY2027.
