Marui Group will issue the “Moomin Epos Card” from March 3 in collaboration with “Moomin,” a character created by Tove Jansson, a leading Finnish writer in Northern Europe.
The card comes in two designs: Moomin (green) and Little Mii (red). Applications can be made at Marui Modi stores, Epos Card affiliated facilities, and on the Epos Card website. Even if you already have an Epos card, you can obtain the card by paying a 1,000 yen design change fee.
As a benefit for new cardmembers, “Moomin Epos Card Original Goods” will be given to cardmembers who spend at least 10,000 yen including tax on purchases with their Moomin Epos Card within 3 months of enrollment. Details of the goods will be released around midnight on February 24.
In addition, a campaign to commemorate the debut of the Moomin Epos Card will also be conducted: customers who spend at least 5,000 yen including tax on their Moomin Epos Card during the period from March 3 to 31 will receive a set of two Moomin Epos Card original stickers.
In addition, to commemorate the issuance of the “Moomin Epos Card,” a “Moomin” corner will be opened sequentially at some Marui stores from March 3. A number of products featuring Moomin illustrations will be on sale. The nine stores are Shinjuku Marui Main Building, Machida Marui, Ueno Marui, Kokubunji Marui, Marui Family Mizoguchi, Marui Family Ebina, Kobe Marui, Kitasenju Marui, and Namba Marui.
