Ureshino Onsen Tourist Association and Outdoor Project have pre-opened “Ureshino Outdoor Field,” a campground where visitors can experience a waterfall sauna, in Todoroki no Taki Falls Park (C163, Oaza Shimojuku, Ureshino-cho, Ureshino-shi, Saga Prefecture).
The newly built tent sauna in the park can be reserved for 150 minutes (maximum 4 people per couple). In addition to the “tea self-launge” using Ureshino tea leaves, which have a strong aroma and flavor, a water bath containing tea leaves is also available. The “Todoroki Waterfall” is one of the 100 best waterfalls in Japan, and visitors can enjoy the experience of “todo” while bathing in negative ions.
During the trial period from February 7 to 19, the tent sauna experience, which normally costs 5,000 yen per person, will be offered at half price (2,500 yen per person). The fee includes a chair for resting, firewood, a self-launge set (aroma water, ladle, tub), towel, and poncho. Day camping is available for 1,500 yen per tent. Hours are 9:00-17:00 each day, closed on Thursdays. Reservations can be made through the reservation page.
